    I am happy to announce that my wife delivered our healthy baby boy via C-section here, and I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. Henry Tsai and all the nurses and staff for their attentive care of both my wife and our son. From our arrival through the ER entrance to the operating room, every staff member we encountered was polite, professional, and incredibly helpful. A special thank you goes out to Nurse Yvonne, Nurse Virginia, and Nurse Robyn for their exceptional care and guidance, especially in helping my wife with breastfeeding. Though she initially struggled with the process, their support made all the difference, and everything eventually fell into place. If you have the chance to work with these nurses, I highly recommend following their advice. We had different nurses and staffs each night, and while we may not remember all of your names, please know that we deeply appreciate your time, care, and dedication during our stay. Throughout our time here, my wife was consistently monitored, from regular blood pressure checks to IV drips and pain management. We were also able to keep our baby in the room with us, except when he needed to be weighed or tested. Nurse Robyn kindly brought the UV light incubator into our room so our son could stay with us rather than in the NICU, as his bilirubin levels were quite high. By the time we were discharged, his levels were almost back to normal. We were advised to continue sunbathing him for 10-15 minutes early in the morning for the next couple of weeks. The room included an additional bed for me to stay overnight, and the meals provided were surprisingly delicious! We have nothing but positive things to say about this hospital. It's very clean, with up-to-date tools and equipment. Trash was taken out every morning, bed sheets were changed every other day, and the floors were swept regularly. Last but not least. You can't film during operation, but you are able to take as much filming and photos once the nurses guide you to the side when the baby is being cleaned. It's important to remember that nurses are incredibly busy, and we're not the only patients they're caring for. Please be courteous and respectful to everyone you encounter here. It's a better place for all when we learn to be humble and kind, especially to people who take care of us or our family members.     I'm coming back after 4 years with fresher eyes and they've come a long way in the last few years. After a traumatic experience at another hospital in this area, I have to say Garfield is night and day as far as patient care and communication. Although it's easy to get triaged at the ER, it's like pulling teeth to get any information or a transfer when determined an admittance is needed. Things move very slowly and it's definitely very frustrating having to sit there for half the day with little to no progress, especially when a transfer to a patient room is involved. There's one security guard here that's always playing sudoku and she's always so focused it's super hard to get her attention to let me back in.. Although the ER is a painful and slow process, the nurses up at 3West are spectacular and are some very patient individuals. Biggest thank you to QingQing, Wendy, Destiney, and Jackie for taking exceptional care of my mother during her stay and for answering the million questions I had.
